Sugars, shots and the Stork....?

Hi, my name is Leigh. I have been seeking fertility treatment for about two years now. I was shocked to find how little information exists on the ramifications to a type 1 diabetic's glucose control, going through IVF. I found 4 posts from a woman who got preggo on round one of IVF (must be nice) and "it was like my body knew diabetes had to take a backseat for once and my blood sugar were just great" (m'kay now I hate you a bit).
Outside of her posts, I found nothing after 2010 and seeing as how it was now 2017, it was too dated to be of help. The drug protocols have changed so much.
So I have wanted to share my experience in hopes that it helps other women in the same spot, share some laughs, and some tears over the journey I've been on for so long now.
I'll be writing many posts that are retrospective now, and will update with any new developments.
I will focus on how each of the drugs i have used specifically increased my insulin needs, my nutrition and fitness, and the very personal accounts of what all this has been like.
